Please don’t write me and ask for trading advice. I really have none to give at this point. Plus, I’m a mechanical trader. I think beginning traders are better off learning from discretionary traders.

The majority of my trades are losers (small losses, but losers). I believe the stock market is mostly random noise. Humans suffer from a prediction addiction and think they can tame random noise in stock markets with technical and fundamental analysis. If you want to read how such an addiction to prediction affects the human mind, read the neuroeconomic book “Your Money & Your Brain“.

Your chances of ruin when trading, as with gambling, can be extremely high if you don’t learn how to manage your money correctly.

I post my trading and trades here for my own analysis. It’s an open diary and it’ll read like chaos.

Trading Strategy

I’m a short term Swing Trader. I’m not a pure swing trader as my trades average about 12 days. I look to profit from small direction trends … either Short or Long. I generally don’t like to hang around in trades for too long. It’s a good way to get your hands chopped off.
